Steve Jobs made a point of bragging about how the iPad 2 is faster, lighter, and thinner than its predecessor. Moreover, the iPad 2 has better hardware, a gyroscope, and of course, front and rear facing cameras. Still, Apple was able to maintain the astounding 10-hour battery life it achieved with the original iPad.
