Songsmith is a new music program Microsoft introduced at CES. I personally think its kind of absurd, but take a look at the video below and let me know what ya think. Could music creation be any less creatively inspired than this? Also, some are saying the computer used in the video is a MacBook Pro (conveniently covered up by tons of stickers).

This is so terrible, it *has* to be a joke. They should have dug up some footage of “Father Knows Best” for this; at least it would have had some kitsch value.

What about Bob? Microsoft Bob that is. That’s what this reminds me of. I couldn’t put my finger on it before. This is as lame as MS Bob. May be that’s the new “Home Basic” version of Windows 7.
