Apple recently made its WWDC session videos available on iTunes in unusually quick fashion. Both the WWDC iPhone and Mac session videos are each available for $299. Together they can be purchased for $499.
As Mac and iPhone growth continue to trend upwards, ticket prices for the WWDC have gone up and more importantly, now sell out much more quickly than they used to. And especially now that the iPhone is becoming an increasingly popular platform to code for, demand for these types of hands on training and educational sessions are becoming more and more important. As such, the availability of these WWDC sessions via iTunes should make things easier for current and prospective Mac and iPhone developers who were unable to make the trek out to San Francisco.
We should point out that in order to purchase the sessions, interested users must first sign up for an Apple Developer Connection (ADC) membership or already be a registered iPhone developer.
