Last week, Microsoft reported disappointing earnings, missed 4Q analyst estimates, and saw their profits fall by a staggering 29%.
A few hours earlier, everyone’s favorite “analyst”, Rob Enderle, appeared on CNBC and was particularly bullish about Microsoft’s financial prospects.
“I’m expecting some really good news in terms of outlook for [Microsoft]. They just released their Windows 7 to manufacturing—which means they’re on track to release it by the fourth quarter—and R2, their second generation of their current generation servers come out and that’s typically a big revenue generator for the firm.”
I guess there are 3 things you can count on in life. Death, taxes, and Rob Enderle being wrong.
