When Steve Jobs temporarily stepped away from Apple a few months ago, he said he’d be back in June, and according to Apple executives, that’s still the plan. But if you were expecting that Jobs would make a triumphant return to Apple in the form of a killer keynote that would see him introduce an Apple tablet, then you’re in for a huge disappointment.
In a press release posted online earlier today, Apple wrote that Phil Schiller will kick off this years WWDC with a keynote address on Monday, June 8 at 10:00 a.m. It’s all good, though. Schiller did a great job at this year’s Macworld and he’ll undoubtedly come through once again.
Oh well, at least we’ll be able to see ole’ Bertrand Serlet again! Check out this great video clip of Serlet from WWDC 2006, talking about how Vista was blatantly copying OS X.. shocker!:
