Edible Apple

Google’s Android head Andy Rubin tweeted just a few minutes ago that the number of Android activations on December 24th and 25th came in at 3.7 million. An impressive figure to be sure, but as we’ll explain in a post shortly, Apple also did quite well over the Christmas holiday as iOS activations this past weekend 12.5 times higher than in previous weekends.

All in all, great news for both Google and Apple. As for everyone else (we’re looking at you, Microsoft and RIM), it might be game over. Though to be fair, it’s been game over at RIM for quite some time now.
