A new study from comScore reveals that Apple is the 13th most visited website in the US, even ranking ahead of online destinations like eBay and Walmart, and almost eclipsing traffic to the New York Times.
During the month of November, comScore found that over 79.2 million unique visitors dropped by Apple – an astounding figure that makes a lot of sense upon realizing that the figure includes visits to iTunes. Indeed, 30% of visits to Apple were from folks interested in downloading books, music, apps, TV shows, and movies.
Not surprisingly, Google was the most visited site in November with 186.7 million uniques. They were followed by Microsoft, Yahoo!, Facebook (166 million visitors) and Amazon.
