Following the arrival of the iPhone to Sprint, C Spire Wireless (formerly known as Celluar South) is poised to become the fourth iPhone carrier in the US.
RIDGELAND, MS. (Oct. 19, 2011) – C Spire Wireless announced today that it will launch iPhone 4S, the most amazing iPhone yet, in the U.S. in the coming weeks.
Now if you haven’t heard of C Spire Wireless, you’re not alone. It turns out that it’s a regional CDMA carrier based in Ridgeland, Mississippi that serves about 880,000 customers in Mississippi, and parts of Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee.
With Apple now moving past the big boys to get the iPhone into as many customer hands as possible, it remains to be seen what other regional carriers might ink deals with soon. Some names being tossed around include Cricket and US Celluar.
