This past weekend, we highlighted a memorial service held for Steve Jobs at Stanford University’s Memorial Church. Amidst the large number of high-profile guests was Samsung president and COO Lee Jae-yong – who also happens to be the son of Samsung’s CEO.
This is particularly noteworthy given a) Apple and Samsung’s ongoing legal strife and b) reports that Apple is going to stick with Samsung for its A6 production.
Media reported that Lee would have a separate meeting with Apple CEO Tim Cook after the memorial service and discuss bilateral cooperation, but the source did not confirm the report.
