Sprint wasn’t the only US-based carrier to experience stellar iPhone 4S sales today. AT&T issued the following statement earlier today.
As of 4:30 pm ET today, AT&T had already activated a record number of iPhones on our network – and is on-track to double our previous record for activations on a single day. These record volumes may produce slower activations for some customers, though our systems continue to run at record levels.
Yep, people sure are disappointed by the iPhone 4S and its A5 processor, 8 megapixel camera, iOS 5 functionality, and Siri.
Also today, Sprint said that the iPhone 4S marks the best product launch in company history. It looks like those 1 million pre-orders for the device are being distributed all around. Now it’s time to wait and see if Verizon has equally impressive news about the number of its iPhone 4S activations.
