With the news of Steve Jobs’ passing, pre-orders of his upcoming biography on Amazon skyrocketed over 41,000%. In light of his death, All Things D is now reporting that publisher Simon & Schuster has decided to bump up the release date of the book from November 21 to October 24th.

Simply titled “Steve Jobs”, the biography will provide Apple fans and tech enthusiasts with the most far-reaching look into the life and mind of a man who profoundly and positively affected the way people around the world use technology and interact with the world at large.

Based on over 40 interviews with Jobs and over 100 interviews with friends, colleagues, and former rivals, Jobs told biographer Walter Isaacson that nothing is “off limits” and even encouraged foes,  former girlfriends and co-workers to speak bluntly and candidly.

Though originally set to be released in early March of 2012, Jobs’ illness presumably pushed up the release date to late November, and now upon news of his death, to October 24.
