You know, some people are just so intrigued by upcoming Apple products that they simply can’t be satiated with spot-on renderings and illustrative case schematics and moldings. Nope, some people want to see the real deal before it’s officially introduced, which is why Benm.at actually decided to create their own iPhone 5 prototype based on leaked iPhone 5 schematics.
Here’s what they came up with.
Here it is over the Samsung Galaxy S II.
Interestingly, Samsung and Apple had some squabbles regarding whether or not the iPhone 4 or Samsung Galaxy S II was a thinner device. From the photo above, we can see that if Apple does, in fact, release an iPhone with a teardrop form factor, it will take home the prize for thinness by a mile.
