Well folks, it looks like October is when the iPhone 5 will launch now that we have three independant sources saying the same thing.
The most recent report comes courtesy of BGR who notes that one of their high-level sources said that AT&T VP recently told employees that the iPhone 5 is poised for an October launch.
Additionally, the VP communicated the following to a group of managers: “Expect things to get really, really busy in the next 35-50 days, so prepare your teams accordingly.” Apple is widely expected to announce the iPhone 5 in a late September event with a release set for early October.
This of course lines up with previous reports indicating that pre-orders for the iPhone 5 will commence on September 30th followed by a nationwide launch on October 7.
And adding even more credence to these reports is that the well-connected JIm Darlymple commented on BGR’s report with a simple, albeit telling, “Yep.”
