Firefox 6 is scheduled to automatically update for users this week but the update is already available on Mozilla servers if you want to get your hands dirty with the latest Firefox build, then have at it.
Some of the new features include speedier performance (to the tune of 20%) and a new permissions tool that enables users to set various preferences regarding issues such as saved passwords, cookies, and location-sharing on a site by site basis. Another feature in Firefox 6 is that domain names are now highlighted in the URL bar, allowing users to discern what site they’re on with a quick glance up to the address bar.
You can download the Mac version of Firefox 6 here.
