The delightfully nerdy and often hilarious XKCD comic – from the mathematically geared mind of Randall Munroe – recently tackled the misleading nature of app store star ratings. But even more pertinent, we think, is Munroe’s take on the the hilarious and pointless nature of many app reviews one typically stumbles across on iTunes. Nothing like giving an app 5 stars because it comes with “many alert choices.”
