So Google may have beaten Apple to the NFC punch and they certainly have a lot of partners on board. One significant hurdle towards mass adoption however is that the service is currently only available on one phone and on one carrier that just happens to be one of the smallest in the US – Sprint. Nonetheless, representatives from Macys, Subway and a host of other Google Wallet partners explain in the video below why they’re so excited about Google’s foray into NFC.
