Prominently featured on the Verizon Wireless homepage, the iPad 2 will be available in select Verizon stores on March 11. Also set to carry the iPad 2 are retailers like Best Buy, WalMart and Sam’s Club. While previous big product launches have centered on Apple’s line of retail stores, the iPad 2 launch may signify the greatest number of distribution points for a major product release from Apple in some time.
