Apple this afternoon released iTunes 10.1.2, an update which brings with it syncing support for the upcoming CDMA iPhone 4 set to launch on Verizon on February 10.

iTunes 10.1.2 syncs music, movies, and more with iPhone 4 (CDMA model) and provides a number of important stability and performance improvements.

iTunes 10.1 came with several new features and improvements, including:

• Use AirPlay to instantly and wirelessly stream videos from iTunes to the all-new Apple TV.

• Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.2.

Not to get all conspiratorial here, but note how the notes reference a “CDMA model” as opposed to a “Verizon model.” Might this, perhaps, be an indication that deals are in the works to bring the iPhone 4 to both Sprint and T-Mobile?

The update is currently available either via OS X’s built-in software update app or from Apple’s download page.

Or maybe they just plan to sell it in other countries where CDMA is also used.
