If you’re an iOS developer looking to shore up your skills, or an aspiring developer looking to get into the game, Apple has an early Christmas present for you. On Monday Apple published 6 different books on iOS and Mac OS X development and made them available for free on the iBookstore. Well before you run off and start downloading, we should tell you that these books have previously been available for download from developer.apple.com as PDFs, but this is the first time you can get it as an iBook. That’s worth some sort of attention, right?
The six titles include: Cocoa Fundamental’s Guide, The Objective-C Programming Language, iOS Application Programming Guide, Object Oriented Programming With Objective-C, iOS Technology Overview, and iOS Human Interface Guidelines.
