Billboard reports that Elliot Peters, who previously worked as the senior VP and head of digital legal affairs at Warner Music group, is set to join Apple as the company’s corporate attorney director for iTunes Europe and Internet services group based out of Luxembourg.
Peters first joined Warner Music Group in 2000 where he was involved in a number of corporate transactions pertaining to Columbia House Music and Video Clubs, Word Entertainment, and Warner Brothers Publications. Three years later, Peters rose up the ranks to become Warner Music Groups first digital lawyer where he subsequently assembled the company’s first Digital Legal Affairs team. Notably, Peters was involved in “almost every major WMG digital deal” and undoubtedly has substantial experience working with Apple.
