Apple announced today that the wi-fi model of the iPad will be available for sale in China starting on September 17.

Apple today announced that the Wi-Fi models of its magical iPad will be available to customers in China from Apple Retail Stores, and select Apple Authorized Resellers, on Friday, September 17 starting at 10:00 a.m.

As for pricing, the 16GB model will retail for $590, the 32GB model for $708, and the 64GB model for $827.
