Edible Apple

A brilliant piece by John Gruber of Daring Fireball utterly demoloshing the fool that is Dan Lyons. Now as opposed to other pundits like Rob Enderle and Scott Mortiz, Lyons actually has some intellect at his disposal. The thing is, Lyons has a personal axe to grind with Apple, a fact which often results in articles with unbelievably asinine arguments and consistently erroneous predictions.

There’s no need to go through and pick apart Lyons’ latest failed attempt to deliver an informative, insightful, and honest column because Gruber masterfully exposes the flaws that have unfortuantely become a staple of Lyons’ columns when he lets his anti-Apple bias get the best of him. It’s certainly worth a read and is also good for a few laughs.
