Apple late last week issued a support document detailing a repair/replacement program for certain Time Capsule models that fail to power on. Affected models were sold between February 2008 and June 2008 and encompass serial numbers in the XX807XXXXXX – XX814XXXXXX range.
If your Time Capsule meets the above requirements, Apple will replace or repair it free of charge. If affected Time Capsule owners previously paid to have their current device repaired, Apple asks users to call Apple support and inquire about a refund.
