Adding some credibility to what were perviously un-sourced rumors and idle speculation, BGR is reporting that iTunes will soon be the beneficiary of expansive cloud capabilities. Citing a reliable Apple source, Boy Genius himself lists out what we can expect to see when this new iTunes functionality eventually gets pushed out to the masses.

The ability to stream purchased content from the cloud down to any Apple device has been a persistent rumor for some time now, and given that Apple is ramping up operations at its massive data center in North Carolina, we’ll hopefully see this service hit iTunes sooner than later.
