Edible Apple

Now this would be cool as hell. With Apple discontinuing its long running “Get a Mac” ads, 9to5Mac is reporting that the final ad in the series will run today at WWDC and will feature John Hodgman as a bartender.

Word on the street is that Apple has filmed a finale commercial to the ‘Get a Mac’ series but this time with just John Hodgeman.  The commercial was filmed at a bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn last week and get this: PC pretends to be a bartender and gets a guy drunk in order to get his hands on his new Apple prototype!!

Brilliant, and what a wonderful way to open up the show if this turns out to be true. Remember, Apple always likes to have fun at these events – to wit, Hodgman impersonating Jobs at WWDC 2007 – and what better way to handle the Gizmodo fiasco than to poke a little fun at what transpired.
