If you need to take a break from drooling over all the new features in the iPhone 4, here’s some release information that might come in handy.
The iPhone 4 will hit store shelves in the US, Germany, France, Japan, and the UK on June 24th. Pre-orders for the device will open up on June 15th.
And that’s just the beginning. In July, the iPhone 4 will start shipping to 18 additional countries, followed by 24 more in August and 44 more in September. When the dust settles, the iPhone 4 will be available in 88 countries by September, with Jobs quipping that “this will be our fastest rollout ever.”
As for price, the iPhone 4 will be available in both black and white models and in 16GB and 32GB capacities. The 16GB model will retail for $199 while the 32GB will retail for $299. Moving down on the price ladder is the iPhone 3GS, which is now available for only $99. We should point out, however, that the $99 3GS model only comes with 8GB of storage.
