A fresh report coming out of the Chinese Language Taiwan Apple Daily reports that Apple will soon be refreshing the MacBook, MacBook Pro, and the MacBook Air sometime later this month. Refreshes of Apple’s notebook line have reportedly taken longer than expected due to unforeseen shortages of Intel’s newest processors.
A rough translation of the article notes that the updated MacBook Pro will come with either a 640GB hard drive or a 248GB solid state drive. Notably, and perhaps appropo given the iPad’s tremendous battery life, the report notes that Apple’s new top of the line notebooks will sport 8 hours of battery life.
Apple last updated the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air back in June of 2009, though the MacBook Air was most recently updated back in October.
