And the news keeps on rolling in. Apple announced today plans for a special invitation-only iPhone OS event to be held on April 8, 2010 at its headquarters in Cupertino. Damn, Apple sure isn’t giving people a lot of time to get their travel plans in order. Nevertheless, the event promises to give developers and the tech press a glimpse into “the future of the iPhone OS.”
According to some recent rumors floating around, the next iPhone OS will include support for third-party multitasking and perhaps introduce new multi-touch gestures as well.

The future of the iPhone OS is a giant numeral 4. Ha.
Always love looking at apples invititations and try and figure out what’s in store for the future.
Seriously though, one feature Id love is a camera that faces towards the user.
Also better app switching (even faster) and app organization would be nice.

This new OS simply means that their would be new capabilities and compatibilities, therefore, there will also be new apps to add and more money to spend on. I just hope it is worth the upgrade.
