A leaked image from what appears to be a Best Buy internal memo suggests that the iPad will be available at 675 nationwide Best Buy stores come iPad launch day on Saturday April 3rd.
Also mentioned is that Best Buy is planning a nationwide ad campaign for the iPad on April 11th whereby Apple’s newest toy will be on the front cover of all store advertisements even though not every store will be carrying the device. Now that’s dedication!
As it stands now, the iPad will at first be available exclusively at Apple Stores, Best Buy, and online retailers. AT&T will presumably begin selling the iPad once the 3G models start shipping in early May.
