Boy Genius Report has obtained what purports to be a screenshot of an email Apple is planning to send out soon in anticipation of Black Friday, widely considered the busiest shopping day of the year. Surprisingly, the savings indicated below are unusually high, with iPod’s selling for 30% off and Macs selling for up to 25% off. While Apple is no stranger to offering attractive Black Friday sales, its deals are usually pretty tame, and have never before approached the 30% level. Over the past few years, Apple’s advertised sales for the day after Thanksgiving have been in the 5-10% off range.
Lastly, BGR reports that “select Apple stores will open at 6AM”, which makes sense given the un-precedented deals Apple seems to have in store for customers on November 27th.
