You can tell that Apple takes a lot of pride in delivering high quality icons, whether they be for the iPhone or for the Mac. And sometimes, Apple is kind enough to add an extra layer of interest to its icons as a means to keep Apple nerds like us smiling. It’s pathetic, we know.
Well now that that’s out of the way, The Apple Blog today took a closer look at the Map icon that decorates the homepage on both the iPhone and iPod Touch. And just where, pray tell, is the pin on the map icon located?
Well, as it turns out, the pin is located exactly at 1 Infinite loop in Cupertino, California. If that address doesn’t sound familiar, it’s where Apple HQ is located, and presumably, where noted iPhone user Johnny Appleseed hangs out.
