Apple proudly boasts that its new 32 and 64GB iPod Touch models are 50% faster than previous models. To help separate fact from fiction, MacWorld conducted a series of tests to determine just how much faster the new iPod Touch actually is.
The results? It’s a demon.
MacWorld found that the new iPod Touch is noticeably faster at every single task, whether it be booting up, playing processor intensive games, launching movies, or browsing the web. While speed and performance improvements were expected given the device’s upgraded processor and its support for OpenGL 2.0, the following results are still extremely impressive.
