Turns out that Karl Rove, the controversial former advisor to President George W. Bush, is a Mac guy with Apple roots that stretch all the way back to 1983. Rove’s role as an effective political consultant for Republicans left him with a reputation for being one of the more polarizing figures in D.C.
But we here at Edible Apple try to keep things non-partisan, so in the interest of fairness, and in case any of you liberal minded readers out there just cant stomach the thought of Karl Rove using a Mac, the following picture might provide some solace.

Rush Limbaugh is also a longtime avid Mac fan.

Since 1983?
I’d say his facts here, are just about as clear as when he was helping create our current environment.

The first Mac was (famously) launched in 1984. How did Karl Rove get a pre-release model? In 1984 he was running a direct mail company in Texas and doesn’t seem the type to have been a Steve Jobs devotee.

Regarding the 1983 date, perhaps he meant Apple rather than Macintosh.

I’m amazed how the claim of “non-partisan” is thrown out there, and yet you can’t help but expose your liberalism by making the article that’s supposed to be about Karl Rove about Obama. How dishonest.

Thank God, Flashed Back to my youth in the early 70’s seeing the Exorcist for the first time at a Drive In Movie,
Linda Blair and her Split Pea Soup Spitting Episode.
My faith was then restored with the Pac Man Eating Apple sticker, as such reminds me it was all a bad dream, and i don’t have to re-live the past 8 Years of the Bush Administration over again, but alas, have to suffer for the consequences of it for the rest of my life.
I Except your “non-partisan” Approach, and even if a few don’t, I give you the benefit of the doubt EA. 😉
