Edible Apple

Leaked screenshots from Rogers Wireless, and obtained by Boy Genius Report, seem to indicate that Apple is planning to eventually clear out all of the old 8GB iPhone 3G inventory to make way for an 8GB model of the new iPhone 3GS.  The old iPhone 3G for $99 is a steal, but the new iPhone 3GS for $99 would be a steal and a half.  With Apple outflanking Palm on both fronts (capacity and price), the only chink in Apple’s armor is, you guessed it.. AT&T.

Another possibility – the old 8GB iPhone 3G for $49?  We doubt Apple will want to set prices that low, but ya never know…
