Apple yesterday issued a software update for Apple TV, with one of the cooler features being support for the latest version of the iPhone Remote app. Now, instead of navigating Apple TV menus with a dinky white remote, iPhone users now have the ability to use gestures on their iPhone to browse around and even search for shows.
Below, TechCrunch released 2 videos showing the iPhone Remote and Apple TV combo in action. It’s very cool, and just another example of how the app store makes the iPhone the most versatile and powerful smartphone on the market.
