A few months ago, we reported that Dell had run into some design roadblocks in its efforts to churn out a cellphone. Supposedly, Dell’s first prototypes weren’t interesting enough to attract carrier interest, forcing Dell to go back to the drawing board and try and come up with a more attractive and eye-catching design and/or OS. At this point, and no matter what Dell releases, it seems like it’ll be to little too late, much like Dell’s ill-fated attempts to compete with the iPod with a branded MP3 player.
In any event, Engadget and BGR recently posted photos purporting to show a Dell smartphone running Android.
