Edible Apple

DigiTimes is reporting that Apple has pegged Wintek to supply the touchscreen panels for its upcoming “e-book form factor netbook.”  I suppose that that’s another way of describing a tablet.  Wintek, of course, is the same Taiwanese company that currently supplies Apple with the panels used in the iPhone. 

The report from DigiTimes echoes an earlier report from Reuters which had Apple ordering a shipment of 10-inch touchscreen panels from Wintek.
