Owners of Amazon’s Kindle app for the iPhone should be pretty thrilled with a recent update that now allows them to view content in landscape mode. Previously, content was only viewable in portrait mode, which for some people made reading more of a chore than a pleasant experience.
In addition, the Kindle app now lets users pick between different background and text colors so that users can experiment and find optimal color combinations for their eyes. Add in multi-touch features such as pinch to zoom, and the ability to turn pages simply by tapping on the left or right side of the screen, and we’re left with a solid update that makes the Kindle app on the iPhone that much better.
