Asa Dotzler, the founder of Mozilla’s Quality Assurance and Testing Program, mentioned in passing that only 7% of all Firefox users use Macs. To be honest, I’m shocked that the number is so low. Safari has some great features, of course, but in terms of actual efficiency in web browsing and navigation, I think Firefox still comes out ahead decisively. The latest version of FIrefox keeps crashing on me, so I’ve had to revert back to Safari for the time being. Again, it has some great usability features, but even small stuff like the Safari toolbar really bugs me for some reason. Wow, comparing Firefox vs. Safari – I’ve reached a new level of nerdyness.
