9to5Mac presents some interesting evidence that the leaked Mac Mini photo making the rounds on the web is actually a fake.  First, 9to5Mac points out that the artifacts on the photo aren’t consistent with what would normally be expected on an un-edited photo.  They also point out that

The Mini DisplayPort and Mini DVI aren’t lined up with where the motherboard is.  While Apple could have lifted the ports, that kind of setup weakens the joints.  Would Apple risk this type of behavior on the back of a consumer level machine – on the monitor port, the one which will likely incur the biggest load?

Lastly, keep in mind that the original ‘leak’ was posted on a MacRumors forum by a member who just joined in February.  Take that for what its worth.
