AppleInsider reports that Apple’s next OS X release, Snow Leopard, will include extended application support for multi-touch capabilities on its laptops, and location awareness tools for all Macs. While Apple’s desktops and laptops don’t contain GPS units, they will reportedly approximate a users physical location by triangulating nearby wi-fi signals, similar to how the iPhone operated before it received GPS functionality.
