You can’t make this stuff up – Bill Gates released a swarm of mosquitoes* upon those in attendance at the TED conference. Before you go and come up with a bad Microsoft/bug joke, I should point out that Gates was trying to drive home the point that individuals in poor countries shouldn’t be the only ones who have to deal with mosquitoes and the resulting malaria. “”Not only poor people should experience this”, Gates was quoted as saying.
Okay, now that we’ve cleared up the fact that Gates’ actions were rooted in good intentions, let’s hear the best Microsoft/Gates/WIndows/unleashing/bugs joke you can come up with. Leave em in the comments and the best one will get a prize**.
* Still no word on whether or not the mosquitoes had malaria
** No prize shall be awarded.

Let’s hope this isn’t foreshadowing for Windows 7.
