MacRumors is reporting that Tony Fadell, long credited as the ‘father’ of the iPod, has recently left Apple to spend more time with his family. In a related story, Mark Papermaster, the high profile processor design expert from I.B.M, will be hired to replace Fadell and will join Apple as a device engineer.
