New I’m a Mac/PC Ad takes shot at Microsoft ads as a whole

Apple unveiled a new ” I’m a Mac/PC” ad that attempts to portray Microsoft as devoting more resources towards advertising than towards Vista.  This is an interesting approach because the very idea is to put a negative spin on all Microsoft ads, no matter how good or effective they might be.  In other words, every time someone sees a Microsoft ad, they’ll assume that Microsoft is focusing more on the ad itself than on their actual products.

Is not Apple doing the same thing as it blames Microsoft of doing by running this ad?

Thats is a bit rich, coming from a company that relies so heavily on marketing.

And as always, it has no grounding in truth. Well done Apple.

This commercial makes no sense to me. I feel like I see three times more Mac Ads than Windows ads.

When you can’t win, blame the competition. That’s Apple’s motto.
Mac = PC (they moved to intel platform remember? no more power pc)

  7. Amanda Says:

And while Apple moved from PowerPC to Intel, Microsoft moved their XBox from Intel to PowerPC. So your point is????

Apple have dozens ads on Mac vs PC and blames PC for spending too much on ads. Come on, and in one ad mac actually boosts that it can run microsoft office.

Mac is the one which spends hell lot of money in marketing which make people think Mac is better. Real value of Mac is not even 20% of their retail price.
